This is Pat M showing part of an alpaca fleece which she washed by hand and then placed in a "carrot" mesh bag and put into her washing machiine on the rinse and spin cycle..  This was the result, which is disappointing to say the least.

She has successfully processed sheep's fleece in this manner in the past.
